The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cocktail Server to enhance the guest experience at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional service and care in every interaction, ensuring our guests have a memorable experience.

This is a tipped position, with an hourly minimum pay rate of $6.84. You will have the opportunity to earn additional income through tips, making this a rewarding and lucrative career path.

Responsibilities
  • Greets guests on the gaming floor and beverage outlets, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Communicates drink specials, answers questions about available beverages, and takes beverage orders
  • Serves alcohol beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
  • Enters drink orders into the point-of-sale system, picks up drink orders, and delivers to guests
  • Prepares and delivers checks to guests
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names
  • No experience or diploma required
Physical Requirements
  • Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
  • Ability to lift, balance, and carry trays, weighing up to 35 lbs
