Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Scheduling Associate to join our team at Adventist Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for scheduling and preparing patients for various imaging procedures and exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate imaging procedures and exams, ensuring timely and efficient patient flow.
  • Communicate with patients and their families to provide instructions and protocols for scheduled exams or procedures.
  • Obtain and verify patient demographics, diagnostics, authorizations, and insurance information.
  • Accommodate special patient needs and requirements, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain high productivity standards and minimize caller wait and hold times.
  • Reschedule appointments as needed and communicate with supervisors regarding scheduling backlogs or issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and liaison between physician offices, radiology staff, and business offices.

Requirements:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
