Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced framing craftsman to join our team at BotBuilt Inc. This role involves constructing, assembling, and installing framing systems for residential homes. As a key member of our construction team, you will work closely with our robotics team and on-site builders to ensure precision and quality in every project.

Responsibilities

  1. Framing construction: Construct, assemble, and install framing systems for residential homes.
  2. Blueprint interpretation: Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute framing projects with accuracy.
  3. Collaboration with robotics: Partner with the robotics and production teams to integrate machine-built framing systems into traditional workflows, ensuring seamless compatibility.
  4. On-site adjustments: Perform precise modifications to framing structures as needed to meet design specifications and address unforeseen site conditions.
  5. Safety compliance: Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards, ensuring safe practices when handling tools, materials, and equipment.
  6. Material management: Track and manage framing materials, ensuring proper storage and usage to minimize waste.
  7. Quality assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of completed framing to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
  8. Team leadership: Provide guidance to less experienced framers, fostering a collaborative and skilled on-site environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in residential framing.
  • Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Solid understanding of construction blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic construction settings.
