Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Optalis Healthcare team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess and Evaluate Patient Health Status: Conduct thorough assessments of patient health status to identify needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Medication and Treatment Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Patient Vital Sign Monitoring: Monitor and record patient vital signs to track progress and identify any potential issues.
  • Collaborative Care Planning: Work with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans that meet individual needs.
  • Patient Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote understanding and self-management of health conditions.
  • Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete patient records to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

  • Current RN License: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Michigan.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Nursing Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Task Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work various shifts.
