Position Overview

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee operations at our manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal in managing the production, packaging, and processing of our food products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee production and packaging processes to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, train, and develop team members to enhance performance.
  • Manage the recruitment and hiring processes while adhering to EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and handle employee relations, including disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Ensure safety protocols and housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with regulatory representatives to meet food safety requirements.
  • Review quality assurance documentation and product specifications.
  • Monitor product quality, waste, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare operational reports and ensure timely distribution of information.
  • Drive continuous improvement in product quality and cost efficiency.
  • Participate in food safety initiatives and compliance programs.


Qualifications:

Education:
High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years in a related field, preferably within food manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Understanding of robotics in production processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret safety regulations and operational procedures.
  • Competent in basic mathematics and data interpretation.
  • Familiarity with USDA, FDA, and BRC regulations is advantageous.
  • Advanced knowledge of bakery processes is preferred.
