- Deliver exceptional service to clients and all team members by surpassing our mission objectives.

- Continuously mentor and assist team members to ensure they possess the necessary skills, tools, and resources to effectively perform their roles, including delivering the Five Star Experience standards.
- Supervise and manage the creation and distribution of the financial operating reports, monthly financial statements, and annual reports for the organization.
- Analyze and evaluate studies of economic, business, and financial conditions and their implications on organizational policies and operations.
- Assess the organization's financial standing and provide periodic reports on financial stability, liquidity, and growth.
- Oversee the development of budgetary programs.
- Coordinate tax reporting initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer and Administration to set benchmarks for resource allocation, including staffing, services, products, and capital needs.
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles that detail and summarize the organization's financial activities and position regarding income, expenses, and operations.
- Direct the preparation of quarterly financial reports to meet bank reporting and covenant compliance requirements, as necessary.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic reviews and annual audits as mandated.
- Establish Accounting Policies and Procedures to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting within a robust internal control framework.
- Guarantee the integrity of all financial data generated by the revenue and cost center departments.
- Monitor all financial activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and controls.
- Review financial reports for accuracy verification.
- Maintain and revise financial internal control procedures.
- Guide, mentor, and develop succession plans to prepare team members for advancement opportunities.
- Develop measurable and time-sensitive Operational and Maintenance Standards to enhance efficiency, improve processes, train team members, effectively distribute workloads, and provide regular performance reporting.
- Foster positive relationships with internal regulatory bodies and relevant Federal and State Agencies.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels by monitoring performance and managing the selection, training, scheduling, evaluation, and promotion of team members.
- Review departmental reports, addressing potential issues or negative trends.
- Facilitate information flow by organizing and leading regular operational and departmental meetings.
- Ensure high accuracy and thoroughness in departmental records and reports.
- Manage communications to maintain consistency in procedures across the organization.
- Provide management with timely updates on the organization's financial status and progress towards its various programs, goals, and objectives.
- Maintain excellent communication with all Directors and Managers.
- Develop and implement approved departmental policies and procedures.
- Responsible for all necessary record-keeping.
- Comprehensive understanding of forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, productivity, inventory controls (if applicable), P&L analysis, and cost management.
- Ensure departmental budget adherence by implementing effective processes and procedures.
- Prepare necessary data for budgeting in areas of responsibility; project annual costs and monitor actual results; take corrective actions as needed.
- Stay informed of competitive changes, including industry trends and local competitive landscape.
- Foster and maintain a positive work environment.
- Maintain a disciplined environment and implement practices that promote safety, quality, and productivity.
- Coordinate and supervise training, assignments, and development of subordinates.
- Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) and applicable internal control standards.
- Present a positive image of the organization to clients and vendors, assisting them as required.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and participate in all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
- Make difficult decisions in a fair and honest manner.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Directly and indirectly manage all employees in the organization. Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities which include but are not limited to: interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (MUST BE DOCUMENTED):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance from an accredited institution preferred.
- A minimum of five years' experience in a governmental or similar setting.
- Ten (10) years of equivalent supervisory/management experience.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Must pass periodic random drug screenings.
- Must successfully complete a background suitability investigation.
- Must obtain all necessary licenses and certifications.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

The employee may occasionally need to climb, balance, stoop, bend, push, pull, twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds. The employee may occasionally need to perform repetitive movements to complete tasks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may occasionally work in low light conditions and may be exposed to loud noise for extended periods.

- Multiple locations.
- Some facilities operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; therefore, flexibility to work various hours is required.
- Must be available for emergency calls at any time.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Some facilities may not be smoke-free environments.
- Surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitor the premises recording activity throughout most facilities on a continuous basis.
The organization adheres to the Indian Preference Act, prioritizing Tribal Members, followed by other Native Americans, and then all other ethnic groups.
