Commercial Glazing Project Supervisor: This role encompasses management and support functions for the Commercial Glazing division at Maxwon LLC.

Located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding MN regions, this position is pivotal in ensuring project success.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates effective communication between Project Managers and Installation teams.
  • Oversees the coordination of field installation schedules and logistics for material delivery to job sites, ensuring timely project completion within budgetary constraints.
  • Organizes and participates in site measurements with Lead Glaziers.
  • Manages multiple installation teams, ranging from 2 to 15 installers per project site, through Lead Glaziers.
  • Provides training and development opportunities for installers to foster their professional growth.
  • Ensures compliance with manufacturer and industry standards for the installation of Architectural Glass and Aluminum products.
  • Maintains daily communication between field operations and office staff.
  • Identifies and addresses any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • Coordinates onsite and offsite meetings for foremen as necessary.
  • Ensures that Toolbox talks and Safety Trainings are conducted regularly.
  • Schedules and conducts installation training sessions for installers on new or project-specific products.
  • Reviews and approves installer timesheets and time-off requests.


Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of Commercial Glass and Glazing systems, including Storefronts, Curtainwalls, Glass Railings, and Heavy Glass Walls.
  • Ability to interpret and annotate plans on paper, computer, or tablet.
  • Proficient in measuring and laying out installation materials according to specifications.
  • Familiarity with tools and machinery utilized in the Glass and Glazing Trade, such as lifts and power cups.
  • Prior experience in Glazing is essential.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Applications and Glazing Software (training will be provided for specific tools).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills are required.
  • Professional communication and leadership abilities are essential for effective interaction with team members, clients, and other trade partners.
  • Must demonstrate a servant leadership approach, with a commitment to training and guiding team members.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to the company culture and industry standards.
