Nutrition Services Assistant

The Nutrition Services Aide position is a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and quality in our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve food items, including preparing tables and trays, washing tableware and cooking items, and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Deliver soiled linens to the laundry department and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist in apportioning servings, prepare and serve beverages, and perform various food preparation tasks.
• Maintain tray tickets, make changes as directed, and identify and correct safety hazards.
• Empties trash cans, cleans as assigned, and performs floor care by sweeping and/or mopping.
Requirements:
• Current state Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience in food service and using food service equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
