We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Petco. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgeries, and other medical procedures
  • Perform laboratory tests, take vital signs, and record patient information
  • Administer medications, handle laboratory samples, and maintain patient records
  • Communicate with clients, answer questions, and provide education on pet care and health
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies
Requirements:
  • College or college-equivalent education in veterinary technology or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
