Culinary Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Chartwells Higher Education. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

Salary: $20.50 - $22.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions. They will ensure that quality food service is provided at all times and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 1+ years of experience as a cook.
• Able to perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
