We are working with a leading E&P firm to find a skilled Production Engineer to join their team in Fort Worth.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing both operated and non-operated wells in Texas. This includes proactive maintenance of base production, well surveillance, optimization of underperforming wells, designing well intervention plans, and monitoring execution by operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage base production of both operated and non-operated assets
  • Conduct surveillance, diagnose, and optimize production, ensuring production data quality, and communicating with field personnel
  • Identify and manage sources of downtime, develop automated diagnostics, and actively search for ways to mitigate downtime
  • Reduce LOE by identifying sources and activities of high LOE, managing the balance of well performance vs LOE, and identifying projects to lower LOE
  • Collaborate and communicate with asset teams, JV partners, and stakeholders to optimize production and completions design, knowledge sharing, and opportunity generation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
  • At least 3+ years of production engineering and operational experience in tight and unconventional resource plays
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of production engineering and operations experience, with a working knowledge of geology and petrophysics
  • Proficient in Excel, Access, SQL, Spotfire, Power BI, WellView, Fekete Harmony, and nodal analysis
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adjust content and style for different audiences
