About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with Aveanna, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. You will work closely with our patients, their families, and our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Documenting care provided in our system of record
  • Providing health education and training to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year of experience in home health care or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
