Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare setting, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols of the organization.
- Develop and oversee patient care plans. Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
- Act as a liaison among various disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
- Execute and follow through on physician and nursing directives.
- Evaluate and align patient care needs with the healthcare team members.
Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire or transfer is required. Accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing must be obtained prior to hire or transfer.
Educational Background:
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or professional licensure at the time of hire is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 12-18 months of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.
