Job Title: Merchandiser

Job Summary:
Workforce Solutions Capital Area is seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join our team at Capitol Wright. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for organizing, stocking, and rotating products in assigned retail accounts. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our products are displayed in a professional and appealing manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Sales Department by safely and efficiently placing products on shelves and building displays.
  • Communicate with retail personnel to ensure a high level of customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Organize and stock products in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to company standards.
  • Meet or exceed minimum requirements for vehicle compliance and maintain auto insurance coverage.
  • Adhere to all Federal, State, Company, and Departmental policies, procedures, and set standards.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
  • Must have six (6) months of work experience, preferably in a distribution warehouse environment or other positions requiring continuous heavy lifting.
  • Must have reliable automobile transportation.
  • Working knowledge of electronic devices, such as cell phones and printers.
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment, such as a motorized pallet jack.
  • The employee must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 165 lbs. when handling keg products.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Beverage industry experience and prior customer service experience.

  • Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct all your activities in accordance with the local, state, and federal liquor control regulations.
  • Perform all your work activities in accordance with the established safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
