Position Overview:
The Refrigeration Maintenance Lead is tasked with managing the upkeep and repair of all refrigeration units, generators, and associated apparatus within the operational scope of Synerfac. This role encompasses the organization and prioritization of daily maintenance activities to ensure compliance with both company and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on departmental performance, fostering process enhancements, and supporting the procurement of new machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
*Organize and prioritize refrigeration maintenance operations.
*Offer technical guidance and oversee repair activities.
*Utilize a Maintenance Management System to log parts and labor, and provide monthly KPI reports.
*Consult on equipment purchases and relocations.
*Recruit, train, and nurture team members.
*Establish and enforce departmental protocols.
*Identify opportunities for process optimization.
Qualifications:
Experience:
*At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance of shipping refrigeration equipment in a supervisory or leadership role.
*A certificate from a trade or technical school in repair or a related discipline is advantageous.
*A valid identification is mandatory.
*High School Diploma is required.
