Job Title: Youth Advocate

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Advocate to join our team at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP). As a Youth Advocate, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to youth and families in our community.

Job Summary:

The Youth Advocate will work closely with assigned participants and their families to develop and implement individualized service plans. This will involve providing advocacy services, connecting participants with community resources, and promoting positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans for assigned participants
  • Provide advocacy services to support participants and their families
  • Connect participants with community resources and services
  • Monitor and evaluate participant progress
  • Collaborate with other YAP staff and community partners to ensure comprehensive support
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage
