**Job Title:** Behavioral Therapist - School Setting Opportunity

**Location:** Malden

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Malden. As a BCBA, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of students with special needs by providing exceptional behavior analysis services within a school setting.

**Overview:

  • Full-time position available, working 5 days a week with 35 hours per week.
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: June 2025

**Responsibilities:

Conduct Functional Assessments and Develop Comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plans

Our ideal candidate will conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with diverse needs. This will involve analyzing data to evaluate progress, making data-driven decisions, and adjusting intervention strategies as needed.

Design and Implement Evidence-Based Strategies

The successful candidate will design and implement evidence-based strategies and interventions to address behavioral challenges and promote skill development. This may include developing individualized behavior plans and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective implementation.

Collaborate with School Staff and Provide Training and Support

As a BCBA, you will collaborate with school staff to enhance their understanding of behavioral principles and interventions. This may involve providing training and support to help them implement behavior plans effectively.

Monitor Progress and Maintain Accurate Documentation

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring progress and maintaining accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress reports, and other required paperwork.

**Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience working as a BCBA in a school or educational setting preferred
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
  • Strong assessment, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior plans
  • Adherence to ethical guidelines outlined by the BACB

**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience and location.
