Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Bridgeview, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate advanced radiology equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to determine the best imaging techniques and positions for patients.
  • Ensure patient safety and quality care by adhering to established safety standards and protocols.
  • Perform quality control tasks, including checking film quality and labeling radiology images.
  • Coordinate patient flow and communicate with radiologists and other personnel to ensure exams are completed efficiently.
  • Provide instruction and orientation to new technologists to ensure effective participation in performance reviews.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited AMA School of Radiology.
  • IDNS license.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a general radiographer.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified in radiology and registered by ARRT.
  • CPR certification.
  • Licensed by IDNS.
Working Conditions
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift and/or move patients.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts during Center hours of operation.
