Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Registered Nurse will be accountable for:

  • Preparing patients and examination areas, including gathering initial medical histories and recording vital signs.
  • Assisting physicians during specialized procedures, including minor surgical interventions as necessary.
  • Managing phone communications as directed by the physician.
  • Taking responsibility for personal professional growth and practice within the legal scope of nursing.
  • Performing additional tasks related to the operational needs of the medical practice as assigned by physicians or practice management.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the State of Ohio.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (or equivalent experience) is required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
  • Current ACLS and CPR certifications are mandatory.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
Desirable Experience
  • Prior nursing experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Epic software is preferred.
  • Experience in urology is a plus.
