Job DescriptionVeterinary assisting at Sano Hospital for Animals involves a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, including patient care, animal restraint, and support for veterinarians during exams and procedures. As a Veterinary Care Associate, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect equipment, facilities, and patient areas.
  • Provide safe and comfortable animal restraint for veterinarians and technicians.
  • Assist veterinarians during exams and procedures.
  • Process lab samples and assist with administrative tasks.

Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful as a Veterinary Care Associate, you will need:
  • A strong desire to help animals and people.
  • Previous experience in veterinary assistance or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Maternity leave (100% paid for six weeks, with additional six weeks unpaid if desired).

Work ScheduleWe typically operate Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to accommodate different scheduling options. Surgery and end-of-day shifts may require additional coverage.
