Position Details
In this role, you will report directly to the Accounting Manager and take charge of essential accounting responsibilities. You will also engage in cross-departmental collaboration, enabling you to make a meaningful contribution throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end closing processes
- Conduct consolidation checks
- Assist in the upkeep of the general ledger
- Prepare financial reports in compliance with GAAP
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements
- Work with various business units to establish cash reconciliation
- Help with inter-company reconciliation discrepancies
- Provide accounting assistance as required
Candidate Profile
To qualify for this Senior Accountant role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, distribution, or a related field is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with GAAP standards
