Cadence Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Cook to join our team at our Tualatin, OR location. As a Preschool Cook, you will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for our students, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring compliance with USDA guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals to students in a safe and sanitary environment
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including storage areas and dishwashing
  • Ensure compliance with USDA guidelines for food planning, preparation, and service
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to plan and implement healthy meal options
  • Perform other duties as required, including laundry and cleaning of equipment and toys

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be Registered in the Central Oregon Background Registry
  • Must meet all state preschool cook requirements
  • Must have 1 year or more of experience in food planning, preparation, and service following USDA guidelines
  • Current Food Handler's Card or ServSafe-certified preferred
