We are seeking a reliable and skilled Parts Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a Store Associate - Driver, you will be responsible for delivering parts to customers in a timely and safe manner.



Key Responsibilities

  • Safely Deliver Parts: Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in good condition.
  • Pick and Stage Parts: Prepare customer orders by picking and staging the required parts.
  • Pick Up Returns and Cores: Collect returns and cores from customers as needed.
  • Drop Off Weekly/Monthly Sales Flyer: Distribute sales flyers to customers on a regular basis.
  • Daily Collection of Credit Accounts: Gather credit accounts from customers on a daily basis.


Additional Duties

  • Store Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
  • General Stocking: Assist with stocking parts on trucks and in the back stock area.


Requirements

  • Basic Driving and Navigation Ability: Possess a valid driver's license and basic navigation skills.
  • Ability to Use Delivery Board System: Familiarity with delivery board systems is essential.
  • Friendly Communication: Develop strong relationships with customers, peers, and management through effective communication.
  • Ability to Locate and Stock Parts: Accurately locate and stock parts in the store.
  • Safety Knowledge and Skills: Understand safety protocols and operate equipment safely.
  • Operating Inventory Systems and Store Equipment: Familiarity with inventory systems and store equipment is necessary.


Success Factors

  • Basic Math Skills: Perform basic math calculations accurately.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Develop strong relationships with customers, peers, and management through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive Parts Experience: Prior experience in the automotive parts industry is preferred.


Physical Demands

  • Lifting and Carrying: Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
  • Movement and Mobility: Walk or stand for long periods, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
  • Vision Requirements: Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus are essential.
