Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate a clinical treatment program for patients presenting with moderate to severe social or mental behavior problems.
  • Involves patients and/or family members in treatment planning as appropriate.
  • Conducts individual, family, or group therapy sessions based on ethical and medical necessity guidelines.
  • Option to develop and provide time-limited psycho-educational groups or ongoing therapy groups.

Requirements:

  • Clear and active Ph.D. or PsyD license in Massachusetts.
  • 2+ years of experience providing direct psychotherapy services.
  • Proven competence working with a wide range of clinical presentations.
  • Proven ability to commute to the location in-person.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children or adolescents.
  • Experience with couples or family counseling.
  • Experience with health psychology.
  • Significant experience evaluating adults and/or children in an outpatient clinical setting.
  • Knowledge and experience in providing neuropsychological, CBT, and other evidence-based interventions.
  • Comfortable using computers - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS.
  • Comfortable completing diagnostic assessments, general psychiatric testing, and providing direct therapy in an outpatient clinical setting.
  • Proven ability to represent the practice in community presentations and lectures, if desired.
  • Proven ability to form excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with internal and external providers.
