Limestone Quarry Foreman

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our underground limestone mine, ensuring efficient development and adherence to safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quarry operations, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the mining or aggregates industry.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure development activities are achieved to plan specifications.
• Control costs to meet budgets and reduce costs to achieve savings.
• Identify deficiencies and implement a plan for continuous improvement.
• Effectively manage staff by setting clear performance objectives, providing regular feedback, and providing development through training.
• Ensure compliance with all Company and Government policies and regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience minimum 3 years in quarry operations, preferably in the mining or aggregates industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• In-depth knowledge of quarrying processes, equipment, and best practices.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Proven safety record and excellent compliance in MSHA safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using computer software for data recording and reporting.

Rogers Group offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
