Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
  • Provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.
Requirements
  • RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • BLS required.
  • Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non ICU area.
  • Specialty certification preferred.
  • One to two years clinical nursing preferred.
  • ICU experience preferred.
