Job Overview: Geospatial Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Geospatial Data Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL processes, APIs, and data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and transformation of data for analysis, reporting, and application needs.

Main Responsibilities:
* Extract, transform, and load (ETL) geographic and non-geographic data from Oracle and SQL Server databases.* Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency during processing.* Design and implement efficient data pipelines for handling large datasets.* Automate ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and related tools.* Perform data analysis to support organizational objectives and decision-making.* Create reporting solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) tailored to user needs.* Collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand and fulfill data requirements.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, GIS, or a related field.* Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ETL Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role.* Strong expertise in T-SQL and PL/SQL with experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.* Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and data warehousing concepts, including ETL, dimensions, facts, and cubes.* Knowledge of geographic data formats (e.g., shapefiles, GeoJSON) and GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).

Estimated Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year.
