Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mesilla Valley Hospital, a 120-bed facility providing quality behavioral healthcare and substance abuse treatment to residents of New Mexico, West Texas, and Arizona.
Responsibilities- Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members and in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practices.
- Supervise Mental Health Technicians (MHT) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA).
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric healthcare facility is preferred.
- Currently licensed to practice by the State Board of Nursing. Must have a valid driver's license in applicable state.
- Must possess CPR (AED) certification prior to hire.
- Successful completion of CPI training including appropriate use of seclusion and restraint within 90 days of employment and must be deemed competent prior to assisting in a restraining process.
