Job Description

This role is responsible for assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, operating pharmacy systems, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists with patient consultations, prescription filling, and medication management.
  • Operate pharmacy software systems to process prescriptions, manage inventory, and track customer interactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, prescriptions, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow, meet productivity standards, and maintain high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico)
  • 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Basic math skills (counting, measuring, and weighing medications)
  • Basic level PC skills (starting up and shutting down computers, using mice to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing information online)
Salary Range:

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience and location.
