Job Overview

Maine Medical Center - Portland is seeking a skilled Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to support our team. As a Rad Tech Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Services: You will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including interventional radiology, to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
  • Equipment Operation: You will operate complex imaging equipment, including CT scanners and fluoroscopy machines, to produce high-quality images.
  • Patient Care: You will provide excellent patient care, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with our radiology team, including radiologists, nurses, and other technologists, to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: You must have a degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Certification: You must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography or a related modality.
  • Experience: You must have at least 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist, preferably in an interventional radiology setting.
