EAP Counselor

This position plays a critical role in delivering assessment, consultation, education, and triage services to help organizations manage employee concerns and problems. As a Licensed Clinical Counselor, you will utilize your knowledge of federal regulations to ensure that organizations handle these issues appropriately.

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $63,000-$93,000 based on national data. Please note that actual pay may vary based on individual factors such as location, experience, education, and skills permitted by law.

• Provides direct support to organizations and their employees through assessment, consultation, education, and triage services.
• Uses knowledge of federal regulations to assist organizations in handling employee concerns and problems.
• Consults with employees and organizations on workplace and work-based issues.
• Restores employees with diminished performance to healthy functioning using clinical expertise.

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience after receiving a graduate degree.
• Clinical training must include instruction on chemical dependency, mental health, and brief therapy.
• Familiarity with workplace issues, business operations, and employee/employer relationships.
• Understanding of EEO rules, ADA in the workplace, FMLA, and Drug Free Workplace Requirements.
• Ability to provide accurate client assessment, including risk level, substance abuse, and job performance issues.
• Competent in crisis intervention and solution-focused, brief therapy in an outpatient setting.
