About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic team at OHM Advisors. As a key member of our Transportation Group, you will play a crucial role in performing traffic engineering tasks for a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement traffic studies, signing, pavement marking, signal design, and maintenance of traffic.
  • Develop and manage design/construction documents for transportation projects.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices, including the Highway Capacity Manual, Highway Safety Manual, and ITE Trip Generation Manual.
  • Utilize software tools such as OpenRoads Designer, Microstation, and AutoCAD to design and analyze transportation projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including Ohio agencies such as ODOT.
