Anesthesia Technician

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team. As a key member of the anesthesia team, you will assist anesthesiologists and CRNAs in the administration and maintenance of general and regional anesthesia.

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot anesthesia-related equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
• Stock and order anesthesia supplies and drugs in operating and delivery suites.
• Clean and disinfect anesthesia equipment according to frequency protocols.
• Assist with procedures such as pre-oxygenation, intubation, and regional anesthetic administration.
• Consult operating room schedules to anticipate supply and equipment needs.
• Maintain current inventory of anesthesia equipment by rounding in other facility departments.
• Attend continuing education programs and staff meetings.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from a recognized EMT-Paramedic training program or completion of Anesthesia trainee program required.
• Minimum of 1 year Surgical Technologist or Surgery Aide experience or completion of Anesthesia trainee program required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certificate required within 30 days of hire.
• American Heart Association ACLS or CALS required within 4 months of hire.
