Assemblage Specialist

Job Summary:
Fabricate and assemble metal and non-metallic parts using prescribed procedures, drawings, and operation sheets. Perform routine layout work as necessary and operate hand, power tools, and machines to achieve high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate small detail parts and perform minor bending or straightening operations
- Use various available hand, power tools, and machines in area to complete tasks efficiently
- Direct and instruct one or two helpers and assist higher-grade workers in accordance with work assignments
- Refer all questionable conditions to higher-grade worker or supervision for resolution

Requirements:
- 3-6 months of experience in a related field
- Knowledge of arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and application to reading of drawings
- Previous sheet metal layout and forming experience is preferred
