Class B Assembler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Class B Assembler to join our team at Stand-By Personnel. As an Assembly Class B Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production by testing mechanical components with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and fit parts using portable grinders, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Install moving parts like shafts and bearings, bend and install pipes, and align gears in gearboxes.
  • Operate tube-rolling equipment, conduct hydro testing, and prepare final assemblies.
  • Position parts manually or using overhead cranes, and clean and prepare tubes for welding.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S methodology.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and ensure functionality of tools and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and respect for the public, customers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work cooperatively, interchange roles, and maintain cleanliness and functionality standards.
