Licensure:Registered Nurse (RN) certification required.
Physical Demands:This role involves regular sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50lbs.
Work Hours:Monday – Friday, Day Shift; primarily 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hrs/wk); additional hours as needed.
Job Overview:The Clinical Nurse in Ambulatory Services is responsible for delivering disease-specific care to patients experiencing acute or chronic health issues or those seeking to maintain their health. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and follow-ups on patient tests/results.
- Planning and implementing care plans.
- Providing patient education and clinical evaluations.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment focused on quality and safety.
Success in this role requires a solid understanding of nursing policies, protocols, and procedures, as well as the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Skills and Competencies:Basic computer proficiency, including MS Windows, Word, and Outlook.
Supervisory Duties:This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:ADN or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
