Work Hours:

Monday – Friday, Day Shift; primarily 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hrs/wk); additional hours as needed.

Job Overview:

The Clinical Nurse in Ambulatory Services is responsible for delivering disease-specific care to patients experiencing acute or chronic health issues or those seeking to maintain their health. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and follow-ups on patient tests/results.
  • Planning and implementing care plans.
  • Providing patient education and clinical evaluations.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment focused on quality and safety.

Success in this role requires a solid understanding of nursing policies, protocols, and procedures, as well as the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Skills and Competencies:

Basic computer proficiency, including MS Windows, Word, and Outlook.

Supervisory Duties:

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

ADN or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
