We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Summer Camp Assistant Director. As a key member of our camp leadership team, you will be responsible for helping to run all facets of our self-directed camp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the camp, including managing staff, campers, and facilities.
- Help to train, lead, and inspire a team of staff members.
- Oversee the implementation of our self-directed program, ensuring that campers have a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Collaborate with our Directors to develop and implement camp policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents and campers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age (21 preferred) with a high school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- At least two seasons of supervisory experience in a summer camp or other programming for kids is preferred; at least 2 months is required.
- First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications).
