Science Teacher

As a Science Teacher - Biology or Chemistry, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
• Assessing student progress and adjusting instruction to ensure student success
• Providing individualized support to students who require additional assistance
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
• Staying current with best practices in science education and incorporating technology into the classroom

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Science Education or a related field
• Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education teacher licensure in Science Education
• Ability to work with diverse populations and promote equity and inclusion
• Knowledge of Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and assessment practices

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Bilingual Spanish
• Dual certification in ESL and/or Moderate Disabilities

This is a full-time position with a 6.5-hour school day and 185 school days per year. Salary information is available upon request.
