The Tire and Wheel Specialist plays a crucial role in managing all operations within the installation workshop.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Tire and Wheel Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all documentation related to tire installations and removals is accurately completed. This includes maintaining and monitoring inventory levels, as well as ensuring that the necessary tools and equipment are readily available in the workshop.
Position DetailsThis position is typically offered as a full-time role and includes benefits along with paid vacation time.
QualificationsTo excel in this role, prior experience as an automotive technician, tire technician, or alignment specialist is highly beneficial.
Essential Requirements- A minimum of 3 years of experience in:
- Front-end steering and suspension repairs
- Alignment certification
- Mounting, balancing, and installing tires and wheels
- Utilizing tire and balance machines
- Supervising all activities within the installation workshop
- Placing orders for products and supplies
- Checking in received merchandise
- Labeling items with appropriate identification numbers
- Organizing merchandise according to customer specifications
- Managing returns to vendors when necessary
- Identifying and tagging all returned products
- Cleaning and maintaining returned items
- Keeping an organized system for storing used tires
- Controlling expenditure on parts
Additional Requirements: A valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record is necessary. Candidates will undergo a drug screening and background check.
