Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver respiratory therapy services to patients, including mechanical ventilation, medicated aerosol delivery, and airway clearance therapy.
  • Monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  • Perform special procedures, such as CPR and bronchoscopy, as required.
  • Comply with all hospital policies and standards, including those related to patient confidentiality and data security.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in Ohio required.
  • At least one year of recent experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting.
  • Membership in the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).
Physical Demands
  • Standing and walking frequently.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 50 pounds frequently.
  • Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling occasionally.
