- Evaluate existing systems and architectures, offering recommendations for enhancements.
- Ensure high code quality through rigorous code reviews and mentorship of development team members.
- Manage user expectations effectively, clarifying when desired outcomes are unattainable and proposing alternative solutions to achieve objectives.
- Guarantee that all technical architecture and system documentation is thorough and up-to-date.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (10g or later), Oracle Forms, and Oracle Database (11g or later).
- Proficient in translating business needs into system designs and technical solutions.
- Solid understanding of structured programming, relational database design, operating systems, networking concepts, and systems integration.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with IT colleagues and business users.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Collaborative team player who actively participates in departmental projects.
- Capability to balance detailed work with overarching departmental goals.
- Excellent customer relationship management and change management skills.
- Adept at liaising with individuals across diverse operational, functional, and technical areas.
- General business acumen.
- 8+ years of experience in programming and systems analysis.
- Familiarity with Oracle Developer Suite (Forms/Reports 10g or higher).
- Experience with object-oriented programming frameworks (e.g., .NET C#, Java).
- Broad knowledge of business and finance.
- Understanding of MS Team Foundation Server (2010 or later), AIX/UNIX shell, Windows Server (2003 or later), MS SharePoint (2010 or higher), ServiceNow, MS Active Directory, XML Structures, and Toad.
- Knowledge of various open-source tools and frameworks.
This position requires a background check and drug screening. Candidates must be authorized to work without sponsorship.
