Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse participates in the delivery of high-quality patient care in the Neuro ICU, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide individualized care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care in the Neuro ICU, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Respond to code and emergent situations, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide timely and effective care
- Participate in patient and family teaching, providing education and support to promote optimal health outcomes
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
- Experience working in a Neuro ICU or critical care setting
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
