About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of security solutions to protect our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer infrastructure firewalls, including day-to-day policy maintenance and lifecycle management.
  • Enhance security posture using tools within the environment or potentially bringing in new tools for this purpose.
  • Administer and tune Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).
  • Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with information system security.
  • Experience with DNS and IPAM.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to take on-call duties on a weekly rotating basis.
  • HS diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Infoblox DNS/IPAM, Check Point firewalls, and Cloudflare.
  • Experience with implementing technologies to support Zero Trust frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Azure and AWS security.
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • CISSP certification.
