Join Davis Defense Group, Inc. as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for the Command and Staff College Distance Education Program (CSCDEP). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality educational services to military personnel and civilians.

Job Summary

The Adjunct Faculty Instructor will coordinate with a Regional Chief Instructor to provide instructional services for the CSCDEP. This includes leading discussions, grading seminar contributions and papers, and mentoring students. The program is executed over two academic years, with faculty teaching four associated courses (a total of 35 weeks of seminar) during each academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Regional Chief Instructor to provide instructional services for CSCDEP
  • Lead discussions, grade seminar contributions and papers, and mentor students
  • Teach four associated courses (a total of 35 weeks of seminar) during each academic year

Requirements

  • Field grade officer or civilian with ILS, SAW, or TLS graduate status
  • Master's degree from an accredited college
  • Military or DOD background
  • Joint Qualified Officer or Joint duty background
  • Socratic teaching experience
  • Experience with Learning Support Systems (LSS) (e.g., Moodle)
