Caregiver Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a caregiver in this role, you will work closely with patients to assess their condition, establish goals, and develop a plan of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition and establishes goals and plan of care.
  • Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard speech therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.
  • Complete documentation to comply with department, hospital, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Master's level degree required.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Program.
  • Current Ohio Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Must hold or have applied for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology from American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in clinical area preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform tasks needed for patient care and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
