Job Title: Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at WEIS LLC. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled, while also providing excellent customer service and healthcare counseling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled, completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in accordance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Build profitable business and script growth through recommended clinical programs, including immunization and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) programs.
  • Align performance objectives to measurable department metrics, ensuring effectiveness and efficiencies within your control.
  • Work with the pharmacy manager to control inventories, ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and maximize profits.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with medical-related issues and providing healthcare counseling.
  • Supervise the work of Pharmacy Technicians and support staff, assisting the Pharmacy Manager in training, coaching, and managing associates.
  • Assume management responsibility over the pharmacy in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, ensuring the success of our pharmacy.
  • Maintain appropriate security of the Pharmacy department, complying with all federal and state laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) or Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) in Pharmacy, or equivalent.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e., APhA).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
