The Boys & Girls Club Crescent Region is seeking an experienced Afterschool Development Director to oversee the delivery of all program areas within the Club. As a member of our team, you will develop and manage program implementation, supervise program staff, and perform other related administrative duties. If you have a passion for working with youth and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement curriculum for Boys & Girls Clubs of America's five Core Program Areas
* Provide individual and group instruction
* Maintain discipline and enforce Club rules
* Refers youth in need of additional services to appropriate agencies
* Manage/Delegate responsibilities to program staff
* Meet with volunteers and orientate them to the Club environment
* Ensure planned programs, services, and activities are implemented by organizational mission, policies, and procedures
* Assist program staff in guiding Club members into making appropriate program choices

Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Youth Development field or equivalent education and experience
* 2-3 years of program delivery experience
* Management and supervisory experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of national and local programs
* CPR and First Aid Certification

Working Conditions:
This position requires occasional weekend and evening work to support the organization's fundraising events and activities. You will work in after school/recreational settings that include being in/outdoors.
