Swim Instructor

Goldfish Swim School - Livingston is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students of all ages and skill levels how to swim and water safety skills.

• Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
• Evaluate students' progress and complete required paperwork.
• Interact with parents/guardians on students' activities and development.
• Act as a GSS ambassador to ensure parental satisfaction.
• Use problem-solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges.
• Inspect pool areas before and after each class for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage issues.
• Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment.
• Report accidents and incidents to management.
• Perform Deck Teacher duties as needed.
• Perform light cleaning duties on occasion.
• Attend required/mandatory workshops and in-service training.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or childcare provider.
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification required.
• Shallow water attendant highly recommended.
