Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Technician to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality diagnostic images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images of the human body, using your expertise to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
- Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
