Pediatric Neuro Oncology RN Navigator Job Description

Riley Children's Health, a leading pediatric health system in Indiana, is seeking a Registered Nurse Navigator to support our Pediatric Neuro Oncology service line. This role will work Monday-Friday, day shift, with no weekends, holidays, or call.

About the Role:

  • coordinates the care needs of assigned patients and develops comprehensive plans to manage care delivery across the patient care continuum
  • partners with patients and their primary physicians to develop customized care plans based on their individual needs and preferences
  • collaborates with physicians, nurses, health professionals, social work, and others to ensure appropriate tests and treatments are delivered in a timely fashion
  • advocates for the patient and balances care needs and financial considerations to ensure efficient and effective treatments are achieved

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN)
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
